2025 Winter Walk Window Award!

Our 2nd birthday and our 3rd Winter Walk came and went and we placed in the gold category for our window displays! Since we opened on Winter Walk it’s a very very special event for us! Windows are a big part of what makes Rebus Rebus and this is the time of year to impress and it paid off!

The first 2 years we relied on repurposing materials using boxes from our incoming shipments to create trees and clouds and buildings and used packing peanuts for snow. This year we wanted to create something different. While brainstorming with a friend he reminded me of the classic children’s books White Snow Bright Snow and The Snowy Day both Caldecott Award winners and I was inspired by the stories of winter through children’s eyes and the book’s artwork.

I reached out to two very talented local friends…He’s a Hollywood Production Designer and she’s a fine artist and together they realized and created this amazing installation!

We’re not sure how we can outdo this next week but certainly we’ll figure it out!
